The Humble Beginnings Band is the product of 3 like minded musicians putting their own spin on music that they know and love. Mark Ciacelli, Jack McKissick and Pete Weston bring out music you know and tweak it, just a little so it becomes their own. The Humble Beginnings Band was formed when the three of us found ourselves collaborating and enjoying the sounds we made. Our sound is a mixture of styles, we like to call it "hoopjack". We take elements of classic rock, the blues, new alt-country and Americana and bend it slightly, making it our own without losing the charm of the original sound. Two guitars and a bass, three part harmony, special songs for special people. Everything we do is done with a smile and a laugh...and always with our own flair!

    Nate Gross

There are so many great guitar players out there today.  We have the world at our fingertips and have access to every learning resource we can imagine but what is skill without soul? Nate Gross is an old soul.  At 35 years old, he has accomplished great success in the industry playing the styles that have been set aside as a new generation of pop music takes over our ears.

The Blues.  Jazz.  Traditional Country.  R&B. Americana.  All these elements make up the musical landscape of the 20th Century but seem to be lost until now. Nate Gross fuses these styles together like a cross country trip down route 66. Like Kieth Richards once said, "If its not about the Blues, then why bother?" Today, Nate has reached back to his roots and is exploring his love of the Blues more than ever. From an audience of over 30,000 people at The Taste of Country Music Festival to touring up and down the east coast, Nate has played for some of the best audiences a musician could hope for.

Sharing the stage with Dickey Betts, Anders Osbourne, Honey Island Swamp Band, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Big Sams Funky Nation, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Commander Cody, The Kentucky Headhunters, Blackberry Smoke, and Many more, Nate has paid his dues. As we head in to the Summer months, Nate looks forward in reaching a new audience as he explores his love and passion for the Blues.  See you out there!

    The Tomahawks

We start with the blues and move forward from there. Our particular brand of blues and level of musicianship make for an entertaining show.

Donny Wilkins (keyboard, guitar, harmonica, scrim-management, and vocals), Cookie Baker (bass, haiku, and vocals), Cody Carman (guitar, face-painting and vocals), Mike Ricciardi (drums and sarcasm)...

    The Gunpoets

Off the beaten path, nestled in the deep gorges of Ithaca, New York, there are whisperings of a musical revolution in the air. The streets are abuzz as the new school hip hop sound of The Gunpoets echoes throughout the hills and valleys of the musically rich, small upstate town, and far beyond, capturing hearts all over the region. Heavy bass, hard hitting drums, silky smooth keys and sexy guitar licks sweep audiences away as listeners find their bodies unable to resist the explosive rhythms. Add turntables and some microphones? Well, let's just say people won’t know what hit ‘em.

With partner in rhyme Jayhigh by his side, front man Rising Sun owns the stage and captivates the crowd at every twist and turn. To witness The Gunpoets in action is to see live rap music at its best! And their display of passion and energy is indeed a sight to behold. Powerful, positive, peaceful and at times political, they can work fans into a frenzy with one song and seduce them into a trance with the next. The Gunpoets seamlessly fuse hip hop with pop, rock, funk and a slew of other genres to bring the world their own unique flavor and brand.

The Gunpoets have shared stages with artists and bands such as Arrested Development, Talib Kweli, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Balkan Beatbox, Midnite, John Brown’s Body, Donna the Buffalo, Sim Redmond Band and many more. In 2012, they released their highly anticipated sophomore LP, "Come With Us," an album stuffed to the rafters with catchy tunes and cleverly crafted rhymes that showcases the bands versatility and musicianship. "Come With Us" won several local music awards including best album and best song. "Shoot the Stars," their debut album (2010), won the same awards. The band is currently working on their third studio release and plans to drop their first live album this summer. Whether they're on the road rocking crowds or in the lab working on their latest concoctions, they're making music around the clock and loving every minute of it.

Mike Davis and the Laughing Buddha Episodes

"The Laughing Buddha Episodes are the garden of my soul in music form." With Mike at the helm, his flowing cast of LBE Family includes: mainstay and African tribe Bobby Tousignant (ask him about the 60's), funk commander and jazz devil Tom Westcott, the keytar stylings of the Reverend Mike Melnyk, John "Is That a bass in yo pocket?" Jones, David Burch (pianist from Marky Mark and the funky bunch), Mark "Don't call me Funky Bitch" Sherwood, and an infinite smorgasbord of the yet-manifested.

The energy of rock n’ roll is impossible to categorize – mercurial, specific to its beholder and profoundly reflective. From the Binghamton, New York music scene comes Driftwood, a band with a rock n’ roll soul and a folk art mind. Carving out a name for themselves with electrifying live performances, they bring one of the most unique, raw sounds to the Americana/roots music scene. Incorporating upright bass, banjo, acoustic guitar and violin, the ghost of traditional American folk music lives in their palette. But the melodies, the harmonies and the lyrics are something else entirely. “We started off playing rock in high school. Then studying jazz and classical music in college. Then we dove headfirst into folk and bluegrass. At some point I guess we kind of met in the middle”, says guitarist/songwriter Dan Forsyth. Drawing on aspects of everything from 0ld-time recordings to 1960’s R&B, the music is crafted to serve the songs. With fast-growing audiences singing along at live shows, it’s easy to tell the primary focus is on song. “We recognized early on that one of our strongest points was songwriting. The greatest songs transcend genre and time and this was one of the motivating ideas behind the band at the start”, says banjo player/songwriter Joe Kollar. Trading lead vocals between Forsyth, Kollar and violinist Claire Byrne, the group’s stage dynamics are as captivating as the songs. “I give so much of myself when I play because I deem it necessary in order to do the music justice”, says Byrne, whose violin-shredding performances galvanize fans. Songs or shredding, “There’s a reason people won’t let them off the stage”, says Jess Novak from The Syracuse New Times.

    The Blind Spots

    The Blind Spots
This all original, female-fronted, five-piece moxy rock band from Ithaca, NY is driving hard at bigger things and has been busy building an airtight justification for all the buzz surrounding it, both in its hometown and throughout the region.  The band gets better and better, with its solid-as-a-rock rhythm section, eclectic library of vintage keyboard sounds, bold and inventive electric guitar stylings, electrifying lead vocals from force of nature Maddy Walsh who continues to reach new heights at every show, and uplifting, infectious songs that leave audiences humming.

The group has matured at an incredible rate, but its members all attest that the recent recognition they’ve garnered comes not from luck but from some seriously hard work.  “We put in have a lot of hours together,” says lead guitarist and co-founder Mike Suave.  “We’re lucky to have a group of such dedicated people working toward a common goal and all thinking about the future.”  It’s the dedication to consistently writing new material and rehearsing it and the shared love of the music the band members make together that continues to propel The Blind Spots forward and set them apart.

    Hot Dogs and Gin
The 5-piece version of Doug & Eamonn Hubert! Offering a range of blues & rock. We know, you're wondering what's with the hot dogs & gin, right? Well, there's a funny story behind the name. Doug's parents are both retired teachers, and a family friend-- also a teacher-- used to always ask the kids when they were over for dinner with their parents, "Want some hot dogs and gin?" as a joke. We think the name is an accurate reference to the four older guys and one elementary school kid who make up the band. Plus, it's just plain fun to say "Hot Dogs & Gin"! And who doesn't love those two staples, maybe not together, but still?!

    The Smokin' Crows

The Smokin’ Crows are a dirty blues-rock band originating in Binghamton, NY. The band’s influences range from North Mississippi Hill Country blues musicians to The Allman Brothers, Clutch, The Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin and many others. The band members’ wide ranging and unique influences can be heard throughout The Smokin’ Crows original tunes. To classify them into one genre of music would be an injustice. Originals like Black Water Hurricane and Blackjack, Craps and Bones fall in to the Hill Country and dirty blues genre, whereas songs like Rust Belt Highway and The Shadow and The Crow are jam rock influenced, meanwhile, songs like 21 Guns, Poker with the Devil, and Still Reminds Me are rock influenced. A combination of originals and “Crowified” cover tunes is what gives The Smokin’ Crows their unique sound. Their “Crowificaton” of songs such as Sympathy for the Devil, Little Red Rooster, King Bee and Black Betty are truly unique and will change your view on how covers can be played.

    Bendher

Bendher is central New York's premiere rock band.

Larry, Don, Fletch and Rob have years of experience and have traveled from California to New York in various bands along the way. Such acts include the Riflebutts, Fester, Rip Tyed and many others. Bendher is loud and Bendher is proud.
Their original tunes such as "Black Dress Beauty Queen" and "Here and Now" will be instantly identified with their unique sound of smoking guitar licks, driving bass, thunderous drums and vocal harmonies lead by their entertaining and energetic frontman.
Don has been beating on the drums since he was a teenager influenced from the likes of John Bonham and Neil Peart.
Fletch has been playing guitar since his high school days drawing inspiration from Robin Trower and Jimmy Page. Fletch has described his playing style as “Pentatonic Wanking” using his own unique style of covering rhythm and tossing in speed licks.
Larry on bass is a straight up bottom rocker, driven by rockers Jack Bruce, John Enwisel and Gene Simmons.
Rob joined this motley crew to complete this high energy band. From a serpentine slither of Axl, to an out and about crowd wanderer, the man with the megaphone is full of energy and wit to make sure everyone is having the best time. Rob says he's most influenced by Myles Kennedy and Brent Smith.
Recently they just wrapped up the first 4 tracks of their upcoming debut record. Recording under the Nozen Glazzes label and produced by Grammy nominated Lonnie Park and world renowned singer John West .
Together they put on one memorable show after another. Coming to a town near you, experience this "Aerosmith meets Buckcherry" in your face show!

    Merkley & Morgan

Chris Merkley and Stiv Morgan have collaborated together on music for over 15 years. As an acoustic duo, Merkley & Morgan draw inspiration from blues, folk, country and American roots music traditions with the help of acoustic and resonator guitars, stomping feet, harmonica and harmony vocals.
In 2006, Merkley & Morgan shared song writing duties on a self-produced album entitled "Ordinary Days".  The album received airplay throughout the central New York area and internationally in Europe, featuring the duo's signature mix of acoustic blues, rock and Americana music.
In the winter months of 2010 and 2011, the two were joined by drummer Chad J Dean at Windy Castle Studios to record Morgan's debut solo album, "When it Rains" and Digger Jones' debut album "All Growed Up".  They are currently playing acoustic and electric shows in the New York area in support of the albums.

    The Gravelding Brother's Band

We are from Upstate New York around the Binghamton area. We have a long collective history of experience and musical abilities. We like a good groove, lots of jamming and killer guitar work on top of honest vocals. The GBB has it roots in a local band called "Rusty Still". At places like the Blue Moon, The Barleycorn and T.J O'Malleys we began our live playing in the mid 80's thru the early 90's with Nick, myself and our childhood friend and drummer Jamie Lane. After Jamie's tragic passing in 1994, Nick began to play full time in his College band, Frostbit Blue, and we drifted apart musically. Recently at a one-off show in Jamie's Memory, we decided to do some local gigs around here...Thus began the Gravelding Brothers Band.
Nick's command of the vocal stylings of Greg Allman, Doug Gray and Ronnie Van Zant allow us to play a wide range of southern rock favorites including, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker, Outlaws, The Allman Brothers and the like. Nick is also the lead vocalist & guitarist in a very popular New York State Band originally hailing from Oswego called Frostbit Blue. Nick's guitar playing is also one of the strong points of the band. His influences range of course from Duane Allman, Toy Caldwell, Hughie Thomasson, Dicky Betts, Eric Clapton as well as many others.
My playing, Scott Gravelding, also comes from the same fertile rock guitar ground of the 70's with the added influences of Jeff Beck, lot's of Blues players..ie..the 3 Kings (BB, Freddie and Albert) and SRV and some good 80's metal players like Randy Rhoads and Eddie Van Halen.
Our combination in guitars is always easy as brothers and we strive to seamlessly weave our playing into the context of this band. With his ability to deliver solid beats no matter who he’s working with, Gary Armstrong’s versatile style and impressive high vocal range allow us to venture where we normally wouldn’t go. He has performed with Carl Dixon (former lead singer of the Guess Who and Coney Hatch), Johnny Petillo (producer and former member of Danny and The Juniors), Karl Probst (one the originators of Dueling Pianos) in addition to performances with current members of Grand Funk Railroad’s founder Mark Farner’s  band Nr’G,  Trans Siberian Orchestra and Foghat along with former members of Royal Hunt (Denmark) and Lynch Mob.
Brother Benny's bass playing is always grooving, melodic and rumbling in the great tradition of Berry Oakley, Jack Bruce, Paul McCartney and others. Benny is the owner of a local music store called "Music City" and has played with many people including his band "Brothers of the Road". His good time feel and world class musicianship keeps us rooted and is always a potent sound in our mix. Benny is also the bass player in Frostbit Blue as well.

    Nick Gacioch

Local musician from Broome County, playing acoustic/electric gigs, generally playing southern/classic rock, and country.

    The Warp / The Weft

The Warp/The Weft, active since 2012 in and beyond New York's Hudson River Valley, has earned praise for its uniqueness and song-crafting from casual and devoted listeners alike. Blending traditional and avant-garde styles, the warmth of a good wool sweater and the sometimes-bleak cold of an upstate winter, the progressive folk and psychedelia that the band brings to bear (compared to Fairport Convention and Jethro Tull) is propelled by poetic lyrics and a "spirit-conjuring," lilting tenor that "puts Murphy alongside Shearwater's Jonathan Meiburg as one of the most captivating high-register voices in rock today" (Ron Hart, Chronogram). 2017's Mapping an Absence (July 29, 2017, Admirable Traits Records) introduces bassist Trevor Larcheveque, whose vocal harmonies help to anchor the band firmly in the chamber category.

Hi-Way Fruit Market is a Classic Rock Band...Mark on Bass, Jamie on Guitar, Pete on Drums, Kevin on Keyboards and Angela on Vocals. Our name was taken after a business that operated in Vestal for many years. Actually, we're really paying homage to the music store, The Guitar Center, which was located upstairs over the Hi-Way Fruit Market. Most of the band is made up of family members, all of whom spent their youth growing up in that music store, so the band's name has lots of memories and legend behind it. Come rock with us!!

We play a wide range of blues and rock such as the Eagles, Allman Brothers, Bon Jovi, Jimi Hendrix, America, Rolling Stones, etc.

    GUNPOETS

Collectively we bring a large musical diversity and lotsa good jammin' and improvisational skills to the stage. Gary's vocals allow us to cover some new material such as Led Zeppelin, Journey and G-n-R and AC/DC. We look forward to incorporating some original material as well.

    BIG MEAN SOUND MACHINE

“BMSM might be one of my favorite bands on the planet. With a horn section to kill for, a drummer that can put me in a beat coma instantly, and a knack for hitting grooves in a pantsless stride, they aren't easy to ignore,” writes Joel Frieders of SYFFAL.com and he’s not kidding.  For a band without a lead singer, Big Mean Sound Machine has character in spades.  When assembled from a selection of the finest, well-lubricated, musically brilliant human components, the final result is the aural equivalent of positive feeling, “...the embodiment of feeling… delicious,” writes Frieders. People dance when a rhythm moves them, and there’s no defying instinct when Big Mean Sound Machine is on stage.

Big Mean is contemporary proof that it’s possible to create art that stimulates the body while also challenging the mind to explore beyond the status quo. “For the listener who stops shaking to pay attention at a Big Mean show, they can find a musical education,” writes Josh Brokaw of The Ithaca Times. Borrowing elements from traditional afrobeat, roots reggae, ethiojazz, and funk among others, “Big Mean’s [style] is not easily captured by the precise, genre-parsing descriptors of a contemporary music press that’s uncomfortable admitting to being surprised with a new sound,” writes Brokaw.  Their instrumental soundscapes have no overt messages yet they’re anything but barren.  “You get the feeling of walking the streets in a city late at night as those who are up to no good are coming out of their homes searching for their next score,” writes Bryan Lasky of NYSmusic.com.  “Seamed together by an amazing rhythm section… the core of the group commands attention while providing a passionate and constant groove,” boasts Vinyl Fluid Records, noting the fact that this purely instrumental band stimulates audiences both physically and cerebrally, though devoid of vocal indoctrination.  The theme the band delivers again and again through evolving rhythms and melodies is to enjoy music for its creativity and musicality, and the way it makes you feel in every sense of being able to feel.

    BELLA'S BARTOK

To understand Bella’s Bartok, imagine what you would get if Salvador Dali and Toulouse Lautrec were fronting the Moulin Rouge's house band, and you have the exuberant spectacle that is Bella's Bartok. Described as "about as much fun as you can have with your pants on" (Dan Wolovick, Two Way Monologues), this 6-piece powerhouse melds Bohemian Klezmer Punk with pop sensibilities into an eminently danceable party. The diversity of musicians that make up Bella's Bartok, combined with their boundless energy on stage, has been known to break a dancefloor, or two (or three, but who's counting?).   Their sound moves way beyond labels, pushing the envelope towards the darker side of Eastern European music, referencing vaudeville and 20th century eclecticism.

With multiple awards under their belts, including The Valley Advocate's Best Band in the Valley 2014 and The Deli Magazine's Best of New England (twice!), this eclectic group of guys have carefully crafted a sound that is part strange and creepy, part pop gold. With an aura of theatricality, Bella's Bartok shows not only entertain, but they invite you to partake in the wild party they are having on stage, to involve yourself in the spectacle. Quite simply put- this is the band you should never miss, ever.

    DRIFTWOOD

When most people think of upstate New York, they either imagine bucolic landscapes or working-class towns. As natives of Binghamton, the members of Driftwood hail from a working town, but play music rooted in the land, leaning alternately into folk, old-time, country, punk, and rock, depending on their personal moods and their songs' needs.

"It's sometimes tough to keep any sort of focus on style or sound when you have three different songwriters," guitarist Dan Forsyth concedes. "But it also allows us to branch out and explore in ways other bands don't. Also, I think it's important, as a band, to ask ourselves 'Is this a good next step?' I think everyone is very excited to know that it is." Describing the Driftwood sound, banjo player Joe Kollar offers, "I consider our sound to be more of an attitude and an approach - the result of all of our influences in a completely open musical forum where the only stipulation is to use bluegrass instruments and create it from the heart."

That's as close to being pinned down as Driftwood ever gets. Such has always been the case for artists blurring and blending genre lines in order to innovate. Yes, they wield old-time instruments, but they do so with a punk-rock ethos. "I do not know much about punk music, but I do know that it gives me a feeling of tearing into something without inhibition," violinist Claire Byrne says, adding, "Old-time music has the same feeling for me. The music was a release for people living extremely hard lives in harsh conditions. In this way, the two styles of music are very similar: It's digging in and making a statement. It's rocking out and feeling totally reborn through the song."

    Swampcandy

Swampcandy is an internationally touring, primitive blues influenced Americana duo. Ruben Dobbs' aggressive finger-picking and rhythmic style (which often adds up to sounding like more than one guitar) combined with Joey Mitchell's bass playing, pounding kick drum and percussive bass throttling (representing the presence of a full drum kit) easily fill up the sonic space normally created by a trio or even a four-piece. Dobbs' soulful, passionate vocals are the glue that holds it all together and makes the band tick.

The band was founded by Dobbs in 2007 and functioned with various lineups until he teamed up with Joey Mitchell in 2010 and the permanent die was cast. After only a few months together, the duo began to tour aggressively and have not slowed down since. Whether its a 20-minute opening slot or a three-hour headlining gig they give 110% in every performance, leaving the stage exhausted and crowd satisfied.

    Animal Years

Brooklyn’s Animal Years are poised to take the indie rock world by storm. Fresh off a national spring/summer 2106 tour that included a sold-out stop at New York City's famed Gramercy Theatre, the band holed up in a cabin in Woodstock with Ryan Hadlock, the hit producer behind the smash debut records for The Lumineers and Vance Joy, to cut their highly anticipated follow-up to 2014’s “Sun Will Rise.” With influences ranging from early Kings of Leon and My Morning Jacket to Young The Giant and The Avett Brothers, Animal Years is driven by Mike McFadden’s passion-filled songwriting and crisp vocals. Their boozy, raucous, high-energy live show provides the icing on the cake for this fast-rising quartet.

    Bad Alibi

There are a lot of bands around. They come in, play and the audience listens - most of the time with only half an ear open. The reason? All those bands are playing the same songs. They grab a few musicians, learn the easiest tunes they can think of, throw in a bit of “filler” material and hit the streets.

The Bad Alibi guys have been down that road. They’re not going back.

One look at the setlist and you can see the difference. Bad Alibi plays the classic rock that everyone remembers but never gets to hear because bands don’t want to take the extra time to learn the material. Bad Alibi does. They pride themselves on performing material that gives every bar & club patron that, “hey! I remember that one!” kind of moment throughout their performance.

Ryan, Mallory, and Mary played as a trio for close to a year before Andy decided to join the group in what has been a “magical” experience. The Smokin' Crows

The Smokin’ Crows are a dirty blues-rock band originating in Binghamton, NY. The band’s influences range from North Mississippi Hill Country blues musicians to The Allman Brothers, Clutch, The Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin SRV and many others.

    Folkfaces

Folkfaces is a group out of Buffalo, NY that plays a rowdy blend of rootsy Folk, Jazz, and Blues - fusing classic forms with contemporary feelings and irresistibly danceable energy. Specializing in merriment and sticking it to the system, Folkfaces make the crowd dance and the hierarchy shatter.

Country band HUMMEL'S JUG is based out of Friendsville, Pennsylvania. Their sound is edgy, but fits the mold of the legends they model themselves after; legends such as Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, David Alan Coe and Johnny Cash to name a fraction of the many. The group puts its own spin on the songs they cover and could be accurately compared to Jamey Johnson with their original material. "The Jug" takes pride in their vocal harmonies and musical arrangements, and has a strong desire to reach each and every listener thru authentic expression. When describing HUMMEL'S JUG original music, it's best defined as "Outlaw Country". Having formed in July of 2013, the band is young and it's potential is limitless.

    Tom Jolu
In the past six years, Tom Jolu, (a singer/songwriter from Upstate New York) has recorded two albums, toured the north east with a full band, and has even been featured on a local radio station. But even though he has done all of these things, he still felt like something was lacking. He felt like he was doing these things for someone else, but couldn't put his finger on who that person was. And although he was proud of these accomplishments, something didn't feel right.
That was, of course, up until this past August, when he stripped everything down to only the essentials and started writing. He wanted to go back to what it felt like when he first started making music, and after a month of writing and recording, he self produced his new EP called, "What You're Striving For." Since then he has wowed audiences with his unique one man band, blues-infused, style of folk.

    Donna the Buffalo

“Donna The Buffalo is from central New York state, not Louisiana, but this widely loved quintet has woven that joyful, hip-shaking zydeco pulse into the DNA of its sound, and leaders Jeb Puryear and Tara Nevins have wrapped that core vibe with hopeful, mellow lyrics.” --Music City Roots, Craig Havighurst

Donna the Buffalo just passed the marker as their 25th year as a band and have proven to be a consistent purveyor of American music. What’s the recipe? To be sure, it’s infused with more spices than you’ll find at a Cajun cookout by way of a southern-fried, rockin’ country old-time jamboree. “For the dizzying array of styles and genres with which they work, Donna The Buffalo maintain a surprising level of consistency. The New York-based band has played around with folk, zydeco, and many other musical ideas over the course of their 25-year career, but they retain a sharp focus that has helped them create some truly lasting music,” writes Elmore Magazine.

Donna the Buffalo is Jeb Puryear (vocals, electric guitar) and Tara Nevins (vocals, guitar, fiddle, accordion, scrubboard) joined by David McCracken (Hammond organ, Honer Clavinet & piano), Kyle Spark (bass) and Mark Raudabaugh (drums). “It's been really fun with this lineup,” Puryear says. “You get to the point where you're playing on a really high level, things are clicking and it's like turning on the key to a really good car. It just goes.”

    Bess Greenberg

Bess Greenberg is a singer-songwriter and visual artist based in Binghamton, NY. With rich, warm vocals and open hearted lyrics, Greenberg performs on upright bass and a vintage hollow body electric guitar. Her songs build in passionate swells, and her conviction is a reminder that our greatest strength can be found in vulnerability. Previously of The Falconers and Milkweed, Greenberg debuted as a solo performer in the summer of 2016.

We know-- you're wondering what's with the hot dogs & gin, right? Doug's parents are both retired teachers, and a family friend-- also a teacher-- used to always joke with the kids when they wanted to know what was for dinner, "Want some hot dogs and gin?" We think the name is an accurate reference to the four older guys and one elementary school kid who make up the band. Plus, it's just plain fun to say "Hot Dogs & Gin"! And who doesn't love those two staples, maybe not together, but still?!

An Ampevene live show will walk you through an experimentation of sounds ranging from soft floating grooves to heavy math based confusion, and even downright noise. Yet somehow their complexity doesn’t outshine the pure emotion and even comfort that the songs exude at the same time.

Hailing from the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York, The Old Main has drawn favorable comparisons to bands such as The Avett Brothers, The Band, and Dawes, while retaining a sound and style uniquely their own. With catchy original music and creatively reimagined covers, they've been called everything from Folk-Rock to alt-Americana, though no label or description compares to hearing their foot-stomping music in person. Acoustic guitar, harmonica, banjo, upright bass, drums, and ringing vocal harmonies make up The Old Main’s raw acoustic sound, and their high-energy live performances are enjoyed by all. The Old Main continues to build acclaim and expand their already strong following all over the North East.

Nathan Kalish and the Last Callers

Nathan Kalish is a touring singer-songwriter and band leader from the American Midwest, currently calling Nashville home after having spent most of the last decade on the road. His latest album 'I Want to Believe' was produced by David Beeman (notably of Pokey LaFarge’s most recent) and is an independently released country-Americana record with a tip of the hat to psychedelic, folk and rock ‘n roll. The songs vary from wistful introspect to knee-slapping social commentary while managing to keep a cohesive familiarity. You can catch NK+the Lastcallers playing songs from his past 4 studio albums coast to coast while he is also promoting his latest album. Influences include John Prine, Tom Petty, Merle Haggerd, Bob Dylan, Traveling Wilburys, Guy Clark, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Rolling Stones, Neil young and so many more....

    Last Call

We are a Broome County NY based classic rock band that has been together since 1991 playing clubs all over upstate NY as well as opening for national recording acts such as Firehouse, Beatlemania, and The Outlaws. In 1998 we released of first CD entitled "Just Got Back From Heaven" and has become a fan favorite. All of our music is geared toward the dancing crowd, and if you're not a dancer, you will definitely find yourself singing along.

    The Darts

Hailing from all around the Ithaca area, the 5-piece Darts sound is essentially comprised of guitars, drums, bass and vocals. While their music is original, their influences are familiar, and range from the Jayhawks to REM.

    Swampcandy

A band that has a crowd pounding their fists through tables one minute and sitting silently on the edge of their seat the next, Swampcandy is dirty and sweet, brash and thoughtful, simple and complex. It’s true stories that are made up just for you. It’s pig drinkin’, whiskey eatin’, foot clapping’, hand stompin’, american music.
